Espiritu's new look

This space is where I will share my thoughts and explorations in design and clay to document my process, failures, successes and surprises!

Hello and welcome to my blog!
My name is Diane Espiritu, I’m a designer, maker, and mother.
This space is where I will share my thoughts and explorations in design and clay to document my process, failures, successes and surprises! I have felt an urgency to incorporate more experimentation in my studio practice to promote growth and I’m excited and a bit scared to dive in and I hope to be sincere and accountable.

I have recently moved the location of my studio from Vancouver’s Chinatown further east into a shared studio at the Mergatroid Building and I’m settling in and finding my groove. I’ll keep you up to date on invitations to visit in an upcoming blog so please stay tuned!
Life is full and in this inaugural post I’d like to share photos captured by the talented Gillian Stevens for an article written by Aaron Hildebrandt for Vancouver Magazine.

I love that we have this documentation of the time we spent together with Shiraz here, although my husband, Euclid is not in the photos, he is big part of the picture and I would not be able to pursue my path without his support, he’s our firmly rooted rock.
